moustache / boutique

The objective was to design a space that was luminous, well laid out and impactful, but with the humility to stand back and let the objects speak for themselves. From the outside, the facade is surprising in its simplicity. The front door seems to float in its wide glass frame. Inside, you discover a selection of objects displayed in niches and on steles.

The chalk-white ensemble gives you the impression of entering a contemporary cave, with its taut lines and controlled curves. towards the back of the boutique, you discover a more mechanical world, thanks to an overhead conveyor system that links the cave to the back of the store.

Bagou is a shelving system specially designed for the Moustache flagship in Paris.  Bagou consists of a cast-iron bracket inspired by the world of masks, and polyethylene shelves.
